There are two ways to get your band booked at CBGB. The first is through a AUDITION NIGHT, which usually fall on Mondays or Sundays. We look for original bands that hopefully have a draw. To arrange an audition you can either call Josh at 212-982-4052 (Tues and Thurs: 1pm to 4pm) or email LOUISE@CBGB.COM
The second way to get booked is through a demo tape. You can mail them to CBGB 315 Bowery NY NY 10003. It takes a few weeks for us to listen to a demo tape, and usually demo bands are booked on a week night once we decide we like them.
NOTE: All local New York bands MUST play an audition, but do not need to submit a demo.
